This is a guide on how to participate in the contest.
[Essay]
Think about a policy that can promote the Women, Peace, and Security agenda from a youth perspective, and write an essay of up to 1,000 words. You may use any editor you are comfortable with to write the essay.
Once you are ready, go to the contest page (https://awp-contest.kr/event/2024-event) and click on the “Essay Submission” tab as shown below.
Next, you will see the submission form as follows. Enter your personal information, copy and paste your essay, and then submit.

Under the main theme of “Women, Peace, and Security,” choose one of the following three subtopics and create a drawing by hand or using a computer:
- The Role of Women in Peacebuilding
- The 25th anniversary of UN
Security Council Resolution 1325 - UN Peacekeeping Operations
Post your artwork on your social media (blog, SNS, or any other public online space). Make sure to include the hashtags #2024awp #wsp #mofa in the title or hashtags to qualify for the award. Then, copy the link to your post. (The link must be public so that the contest judges can access it.)
Once you are ready, go to the contest page (https://awp-contest.kr/event/2024-event) and click on the “Drawing Submission” tab as shown below.
Next, you will see the submission form for the drawing section. Enter your personal information and submit the URL where your drawing is posted.
